In 1987 David Zalyan founded the Yerevan State Junior Musical theatre and was appointed its creative director.
According to the order of the RA ministry of culture, youth affairs and sport the Yerevan State Junior Musical Theatre was renamed State Musical Chamber Theatre and is its legal successor.
